Trimmable Cargo Mat for 2012 Nissan Pathfinder
By Scrappy
I purchased this trimmable cargo liner for my 2012 Nissan Pathfinder and it fits perfectly with the 3rd row of seats down! Before purchasing this cargo liner, I wanted something that would cover my cargo area and be soft enough to bend when the 3rd row of seats were up. I already had Husky Liners mats for the 1st 2 rows (none for the 3rd row right now, may buy something later), and I was considering Husky for the cargo as well. But, I felt that they were a little too stiff for me, so I tried looking at other brands like WeatherTech, but I couldn't see myself spending another hundred something just for the cargo area. The other brands mentioned above may have a lip on the edge to contain liquid spillage, although that would be nice, it is not needed for my application.
Before Installing, their are 2 things you should do 1st!
1. Lay the mat flat in the sun for at least 10~15 minutes. I laid mine on concrete mid day. This will help flatten out the mat s ince it was rolled up and stored in a shrink wrap. This will also help to make the mat more pliable and easier to trim.
2. Make a template of your trunk before installing! Use cardboard for this. It's easy to cut with a razor blade and if you make a mistake, just tape a piece of cardboard over your mistake!
And voila! Now you have a custom made cargo liner for your trunk space. Oh... BTW, please make all cuts outside of the car. The worse thing you could do is slip and make a gash in your rug or trim panel.

This mat is everything the ad says about it. We purchased a 2012 Ford Explorer & the mat fits in well with a new vehicle. This was easy to trim & does everything the ad claims it does. It not only looks nice but keeps things in place within the cargo area.
